Instructions
Step 1
In a large saucepan combine water and sugar.
Bring to boiling, stirring to dissolve sugar. Boil
rapidly for 5 minutes. Add cranberries: return
to boiling. Cook, uncovered, over high heat 5
to 6 minutes or till skins pop. Remove from
heat. Serve warm or chilled with poultry, pork,
or beef. Makes about 5 cups
Note: To mold Cranberry Sauce, cook 10 to
12 minutes more during the final cooking time
or till a drop gels on a cold plate. Turn into a 4
cup mold; chill till firm. Unmold.
