Step 1
In small sauce pot, warm water to 150° Fahrenheit.

Take off stove, add yeast, and date syrup. Stir. Let sit for 10 minutes, until frothy.
Step 3
Add almond milk and oil to yeast mixture. Mix thoroughly.
Step 4
In large bowl add salt and flour, combine.
Step 5
Add wet mixture, combine. Flour a clean surface and knead 5 minutes and then form a ball. Oil down ball and place back in bowl. Cover with plastic and a dish towel in a warm area for 1 hour until dough doubles in size.
Step 6
Flour a clean surface and knead dough for ten minutes. Let sit while preparing pan by greasing with oil.
Step 7
Roll dough into a long cylinder and place in pan. Cover with towel for 1 hour to let double in size.
Step 8
Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit 20 minutes prior to baking.
Step 9
Wet top of proofed dough with milk and syrup. Sprinkle other half of Lipton Onion Mix. Bake for 45 minutes
Step 10
10 minutes prior to end of Baking Sprinkle cooked onions on top of loaf.
Step 11
Take out and cool in pan for 15 minutes, then take out of pan and place on baking rack for 20 minutes prior to slicing.
