Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees farenheight. Prep a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside. In a bowl whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Step 2
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat white sugar, brown sugar, butter, and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs, and continue to beat until combined, scraping the sides of the bowl as needed.
Step 3
Add flour mixture to the stand mixer, and mix with the wet ingredients until combined. Add chocolate chips and mix until evenly distributed.
Step 4
Scoop cookie dough balls onto the prepared cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, until cookies are golden brown on the bottom. When done baking, let cookies sit on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes until transferring to a wire cooling rack.
Step 5
Serve warm with a cold glass of milk (optional), and enjoy!
