Corned Beef and Cabbage

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.

Step 2
Rinse off corned beef.

Step 3
Place corned beef in Dutch oven. Pour in the spice pack and cover with water. Place cover on Dutch oven.

On the stovetop, bring water in Dutch oven to a boil (covered). Skim off gunk from top of water and discard.

Step 5
Place Dutch oven (covered) in the oven at 300 degrees and cook until tender (about 3 hours).


Step 6
Place Dutch oven back on the stovetop. Remove corned beef from Dutch oven and rest on cutting board under foil.



Step 7
Add red potatoes and carrots to the Dutch oven and simmer on the stovetop (covered or uncovered) until tender. Add cabbage partway through as it does not take as long.




Step 8
Remove all remaining ingredients from the Dutch oven and let cool.

Step 9
Serve with dinner rolls and enjoy!
