Easy and Quick Philly Cheesesteak with a garlic aioli.

Ingredients
6 servings

2 tablespoonsbutter

12 ouncesbaby bella mushrooms

1onion
large, sliced into half-moons

1green bell pepper
sliced into strips

1.5 lbribeye steak
thinly sliced

1 teaspoonkosher salt

fresh cracked black pepper

½ teaspoongarlic powder

6slices provolone cheese

hoagie rolls
for serving

½ cupmayonnaise

1.5 Tablespoonroasted garlic paste

1 tablespoonolive oil

½ cupbeef broth
or 1 tsp of better than Bouillon

2 tablespoonflour
Instructions
For the Filling
Step 1
To begin, melt butter in a large skillet with olive oil


Step 2
Sauté mushrooms until golden brown, then set aside.

Step 3
Sauté onions until lightly caramelized, then add in green bell peppers.

Step 4
Transfer onions and peppers to a plate and set aside.


Step 5
Add in steak and let brown. Season steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.




Step 6
Add veggies back into pan with steak. Stir to combine




Step 7
Add in 1 teaspoon better than bouillon, a little bit of water, and flour. The stuff is optional, but will make the meat more flavorful and have a jammy texture.





For the Aioli
Step 8
Combine 1/2 cup mayonnaise with roasted garlic paste and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine fully.


Putting it all together
Step 9
Take your hoagie roll and toast if desired. Add garlic aioli to both sides, top with 1-2 slices of provolone and finish with the meat mixture. Enjoy!
