2 cupsfruit
chopped, seasonal, apples, feijoa, pears
2 tspbrown sugar
¼ cupwater
crumble topping
½ tspvanilla essence
3 Tbspbutter
1 Tbspwater
1 Tbspgolden syrup
½ cupflour
½ cuprolled oats
¼ cupbrown sugar
0.25desiccated coconut
or thread
¼ cupground almonds
½ tspground cinnamon
yoghurt
whipped cream
vanilla ice cream
Instructions

PREP IT
Step 2
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Step 3
Set aside a medium baking dish (measuring about 20cm x 20cm). Roughly chop fruit.
Step 4
COOK IT
Step 5
Add fruit, sugar and first measure of water to a medium pot and bring to the boil.
Step 6
Once boiling, reduce heat to medium and simmer for about 5 mins, until tender.
Step 7
Transfer mix to reserved dish and reserve pot.

MELT IT

Add vanilla, butter, second measure of water and golden
Step 10
syrup to reserved pot.
Step 11
Cook on a low heat for about 2 mins, until butter is melted and combined. Add remaining crumble ingredients to the pot and mix to combine.

BAKE IT

Sprinkle crumble topping over filling and bake for 15-20 mins, until crumble topping is golden.

Spoon crumble into bowls. If desired, top with yoghurt, whipped cream or ice cream.
