Instructions

Mushroom Sauce

Step 1
Dice the onion, slice the mushrooms and finely chop the garlic and parsley.
Step 2
Heat the olive oil in the pan and set the heat to medium-high. Add the mushrooms and fry for approx. 2 mins. until they start to reduce in size.
Step 3
Add the onions, garlic, salt and pepper and fry again for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Now add the tomato paste and fry for a further minute.
Step 5
Now pour in the white wine and reduce the heat to low. Allow the white wine to reduce for approx. 3 mins.
Step 6
Add the butter and allow to melt.
Step 7
Finally, pour in the cream and turn the heat down to low. Allow the sauce to simmer for at least 15 minutes.
Step 8
Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet
Step 9
Add 2 tablespoons of the pasta water to the sauce and stir.
Step 10
Then add the pasta and parsley and mix well.

Steak

Step 11
Massage the olive oil, salt and pepper into both sides of the steak.
Step 12
Heat the sunflower oil in a frying pan and set the heat to high. Place the steak in the pan and fry for 2 mins.
Step 13
Now flip the steak and add the butter, rosemary and garlic. Fry the steak again for 2 minutes, pouring the melted butter over the steak again and again.

Pasta

Step 14
Slice the steak.
Step 15
Divide the pasta between 2 plates and top with the steak. Finally, pour some of the steak butter over the steak and enjoy!
