Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F.
Step 2
To a pan add the onion and ground beef. Once the meat is cooked through drain any excess grease.
Step 3
Stir in minced garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Stir in the garlic powder, salt, pepper, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Cook for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Stir in the cheese until melted (if using).
Step 6
Cut 3 bell peppers into quarters and remove any seeds.
Step 7
Add water to the bottom of a 9X13 dish and top with the green peppers.
Step 8
Fill each green pepper evenly with the meat. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Step 9
Top evenly with cheese and bake for another 5 minutes uncovered.
