Instructions
Step 1
Make the Gochujang Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together gochujang paste, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and maple syrup until smooth
Step 2
Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine 1/4 cup gochujang sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Add chicken strips and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight for deeper flavor
Step 3
Grilling: Remove chicken from marinade and discard marinade. Grill chicken for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through, basting occasionally with the remaining marinade
Step 4
Baking: Arrange chicken on a baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through, basting occasionally with the remaining marinade
Step 5
Serve with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
