Chestnut Flour Skillet Bread

I have 6 chestnut trees in my yard. This recipe is my take on a “cornbread” recipe using only chestnut flour.

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 F
Step 2
Line a cast iron skillet or 9” x 9” pan with parchment paper and grease the paper with some of the butter
Step 3
Combine all ingredients into a thick batter
Step 4
Bake for 20-30 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean
