Instructions

Step 1
Juice and strain all the lemon juice from the pulp and seeds. Set aside. Pour the water into a large measuring cup, and add the sugar and the lemon peels from 3 of the 5 lemons. Heat in the microwave or stove top until warm, and the sugar is fully dissolved. Strain the simple syrup into a large bowl. Add the reserved lemon juice. Stir well. Add to the Creami pint, and freeze for 24 hours.
Step 2
Once ready, process the granita in the machine on sorbet, until it is nice and powdery. Re-spin if desired.
