Cinnamon Roll Apple Muffins

Ingredients
12 servings
1 ½ cupsall purpose flour
¾ tspbaking soda
½ tspbaking powder
½ tspcinnamon
â…› tspnutmeg
2eggs
1 cupunsweetened apple sauce
â…“ cupbutter
or coconut oil, melted and cooled
½ cupmaple syrup
¼ cupalmond milk
or any milk of your choosing
1 tspvanilla extract
APPLE MIXTURE
1apple
large, any kind you like
3 Tbspbrown sugar
1 tspcinnamon
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a muffin pan with muffin liners.
Step 2
Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl and wet ingredients in a separate bowl.
Step 3
Por the wet ingredients in with the dry ingredients and mix just until combined. Set aside.
Step 4
To make the cinnamon apples, peel the apple and cut it into cubes. Then mix with the brown sugar and cinnamon.
Step 5
Fill each muffins cup 1/3 of the way, then add a scoop of cinnamon apple, then fill to the top with batter and more cinnamon apples.
Step 6
Bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick comes clean, let cool before serving 🥰
