basically, they're mini pecan pie squares. they're yummy!
i don't remember who's recipe this was, but i found it in our recipe cabinet. i've already made it twice in the past two weeks, and i'm planning on making it again for thanksgiving 2024!

BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°. Grease a 9" baking pan; set aside.

PREPARATION - CRUST
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix well the flour and 2T brown sugar.

With fingers or a pastry blender, add the ½C softened butter until the mixture begins to hold together.

Pat into greased pan.
Step 5
Bake in preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until firm.

Step 6
In a medium bowl, lightly beat ½C brown sugar and the 2 eggs.

Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

Pour over baked crust. Bake for 25 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.

Cool in the pan on a cooling rack.

Cut into 3x1 squares.
