Instructions
Step 1
Start by preheating the oven, greasing the pan and separating the ingredients in the exact quantities to be used.
Step 2
Place the eggs, sugar, oil and carrots in a blender and blend well until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous mixture
Step 3
Transfer to a bowl, add the flour and baking powder, and mix just enough to incorporate the ingredients well.
Step 4
Add the chocolate to the dough and mix it well
Step 5
Place the dough in a greased and floured pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for approximately 40 minutes (or until u can feel that the cake is ready)
Icing (Optional)
Step 6
Pour the butter, cocoa powder, sugar and milk into a bowl, then mix.
Step 7
Bring the mixture to a boil and continue mixing until it reaches a creamy consistency
Step 8
Pour the syrup over the cake, after the cake is baked
