Ingredients

2 lbCrab meat
4 lbChicken thighs
2 lbdiced ham
2 packsAndouille sausage
2 packssmoked sausage
3 qtwater
4celery
chopped
4carrots
chopped
1 bagsfrozen corn
2 bagsfrozen okra
2onions
chopped
4green peppers
chopped
4green onions
chopped
1 cupminced garlic
2bay leaves
Gumbo File
to taste
2 containerschicken broth
cayenne pepper
to taste
4cans tomato sauce
4cans diced tomatoes
white rice
Instructions
Step 1
Make a Rue with butter and flour...stir constantly until it's smooth. In a skillet add chicken and sausages then cook to tender. Put it in the mama pot...pour Rue and water in the mama pot....add tomato sauce and diced tomatoes...add the remaining veggies and seasoning to the mama pot...add the chicken broth and bring to a boil...stir constantly for 15 minutes...put flame on simmer and let it cook stirring occasionally...let simmer for up to 2 hours...make your rice on the side...Dinner is done and enjoy
