Hawaiian Shoyu Chicken

Instructions

Step 1
Fry the chicken, skin side down for 6 minutes until well browned. Turn skin side up and add soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, garlic and ginger and about half a cup of water
Step 2
Bring to a simmer, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Spoon the sauce over the chicken, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked. Remove the chicken from the pan
Step 3
Add corn flour to the sauce to thicken
