Instructions
Step 1
Cut the butter into small cubes.
Step 2
In a food processor, combine the flour, butter, and salt. Pulse until the mixture resembles a sand-like texture.

Gradually add water and pulse until the dough just comes together.

Place a sheet of plastic wrap on a flat surface. Transfer the dough onto the wrap.

Fold the plastic wrap over the dough, then use a rolling pin to flatten it evenly.

Refrigerate the wrapped dough for 1-2 hours.

Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
Step 8
Lightly flour a clean surface, place the chilled dough on it, and lightly flour the top of the dough.

Roll the dough out until it is slightly larger than your pie pan.

Carefully transfer the rolled dough into the pie pan, pressing it gently to fit the pan.

Use a rolling pin to trim the excess dough by rolling it over the edges of the pan.

Use a fork to prick holes in the base of the dough.

Place a sheet of baking paper over the dough, then fill it with pie weights.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.
