Instructions

Step 1
Cook Sausage: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned. Remove and set aside. Sauté Garlic and Orzo: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in orzo and toast for 1-2 minutes. Simmer: Add chicken broth, heavy cream, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook until the orzo is tender, stirring occasionally. Combine: Stir in Parmesan cheese and cooked sausage. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
