Step 1
Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Cream the Butter and Sugar: In a mixing bowl, cream 250 g of butter with 1 cup of sugar until light and fluffy. Add 1 tsp of vanilla essence and mix well.

Add the Egg: Beat in 1 egg until fully incorporated.

Step 4
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together 2 cups of flour, 2 cups of cornstarch, 1 tsp baking powder, and a pinch of salt.




Step 5
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture. Mix until a soft, smooth, and slightly crumbly dough forms.








Step 6
Shape the Biscuits: Roll or shape the dough into your desired forms. You can use your hands or molds for shaping.




Step 7
Bake: Place the shaped dough on a lined baking tray. Bake for 10–11 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden.

Step 8
Cool: Let the biscuits cool on a wire rack before serving.
