Instructions
Step 1
- Heat water to 105-107°F - DO NOT EXCEED 107°
- Measure and add all dry ingredients into mixing bowl then give a quick mix to incorporate ingredients.
- Add water when it's the desired temp.
- Using a stand mixer: - Mix at speed 2 for 5 minutes - Then mix at speed 4 for 5 minutes - Finally mix again at speed 2 for 7 minutes - Transfer dough into lightly oiled bowl, cover and let rise until doubled in size. - After proofing, put on lightly floured surface and fold 3-4 times.
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Spray cooking vessel with Bakers Joy.
- Shape the dough to your cooking vessel place inside then score the top a few times. - NOTE: The dough will not rise much when cooking. - Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes.
- After initial baking time, remove from oven and brush with melted butter. - Put back in oven bake for another 30 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- Remove from oven and place on cooling rack for 10 minutes or until its safe to touch.
- Cut and enjoy!
