Air fryer chicken tenders are super easy to make, and they turn out crispy without all the oil!

Instructions

Step 1
So start by cutting the chicken breasts into thin strips.
Step 2
In a bowl, add the flour and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Step 3
In a second bowl, crack the egg and whisk it.
Step 4
In a third bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika (optional), salt and pepper.
Step 5
Coat each chicken strip first in the flour mixture, making sure it’s evenly coated.
Step 6
Next, dip it into the egg wash, allowing any excess egg to drip off.
Step 7
Finally, coat the chicken strip with the seasoned breadcrumbs, pressing gently to ensure the breadcrumbs stick well.
Step 8
Lightly spray the breaded chicken tenders with oil and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they’re not overcrowded. You may need to do this in batches.
Step 9
Air fry at 200°C for around 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the goujons are golden brown and crispy.
