Instructions

Step 1
1. Simmer the Base - In a saucepan over medium heat, combine pineapple juice, honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce (if using), cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

2. Reduce & Thicken - Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally. Let it cook for about 10-15 minutes until it starts to reduce slightly.
Step 3
3. Thicken (Optional) - If you want a thicker glaze, mix the cornstarch with water to make a slurry, then slowly whisk it into the simmering glaze. Stir for another 2-3 minutes until thickened.
Step 4
4. Glaze the Ham - Brush the glaze over your ham before baking. Baste every 15-20 minutes for a caramelized finish.
