Air Fryer Sausage Rolls

There really is something undeniably comforting about a freshly baked sausage roll, crispy, golden pastry wrapped around juicy, flavour-packed sausage meat.

Instructions
Step 1
Unroll or open (depending what puff pastry you buy) and using a rolling pin roll out into about 1cm thickness.
Step 2
In a bowl place your sausage meat and season.
Step 3
Divide the sausage meat and shape into two long, even logs down the centre of each pastry strip, sprinkle over your dried rosemary if you choose.
Step 4
Fold the pastry over the filling and press the edges together to seal.
Step 5
Slice into desired sizes, mini rolls for snacks or larger ones for meals.
Step 6
Brush the tops with beaten egg to give a golden, shiny finish and score the tops gently with a fork to help to seal the meat in.
Step 7
Pre heat the air fryer on 190c for about 2-3 minutes, Line the basket with parchment paper or spray lightly with oil to prevent sticking.
Step 8
Place the rolls in the basket (leave space between them) and air fry for 10-12 mins, or until the pastry is puffed and golden and the sausage is fully cooked.
Step 9
Let them cool slightly before serving, they’re piping hot inside! Serve with a dollop of ketchup, mustard, or brown sauce.
