Instructions

Step 1
Heat the oven to 180° C/Gas mark 4
Step 2
Line 2 baking sheets with baking parchment
Step 3
Melt the butter, sugar and golden syrup together in a small saucepan over a low heat, stirring frequently. Remove from the heat and cool slightly.
Step 4
Whisk in the flour, then add orange zes, M & M's, cranberries, flaked almonds and coconut in that order.
Step 5
Scoop heaped teaspoons of the mixture on the baking parchment leaving space between them. May need to bake them in batches.
Step 6
Bake for 8-10 mins per batch until golden.
Step 7
Cool for 2 minutes on the sheet then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Step 8
Melt the chocolate, then spread it on the underside of Florentines to the edge.
Step 9
Leave it to cool slightly, then make a wavy design with a fork.
