Instructions
Step 1
Heat a pan over medium heat, then add in the ground beef. Breaking up the beef, brown for 3 or 4 minutes.
Step 2
Once meat is browned, drain off as much grease off as possible.
Step 3
Then, add the garlic powder and onions to the beef and cook.
Step 4
After 5 minutes, add the tomato paste, catsup, water, and vinegar, and stir it all into the meat and onions.
Step 5
Then, add the dry mustard, pepper, and brown sugar, and make sure everything is well mixed.
Step 6
Then, reduce the heat to medium low and let it simmer for 25 to 30 minutes.
Step 7
Once the meat has simmered for half an hour, and most of the liquid has steamed off, they are ready to serve.
Step 8
Cover the bottom half of each roll with about 1/3 cup of the meat. Then cover each with the top half of the roll.
