Instructions

Step 1
First add 1/4 cup of warm water to a small bowl. Add the sugar and the yeast and whisk until fully incorporated. Let this sit till bubbles form on the surface of the water. Add

In a large bowl add the remaining ingredients and half of the remaining water. Mix until it forms breadcrumbs.
Step 3
Add the yeast and water and begin to knead to form a dough. Add the remaining water slowly until it forms a smooth dough.
Step 4
Leave to prove for 1-2 hours outside of the fridge.
Step 5
Once doubled in size separate into 8 equally sized balls and press to flatten slightly.
Step 6
Brush with water or egg white and top with sesame seeds.
Step 7
Bake for 15-20 mins at 170 degrees celsius.
Step 8
Once out of the oven, brush with butter and leave to cool fully.
