Instructions
Step 1
1. Mix 2 cups powdered milk with 4 cups warm water until smooth.
Step 2
2. Warm mixture gently to about 45°C (113°F) — like warm bath water.
Step 3
3. In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp yogurt starter with some warm milk, then stir back into the full mixture.
Step 4
4. Cover the bowl and keep it in a warm place (oven with light on, wrapped in towel) for 8–12 hours.
Step 5
5. Once set, strain using clean cloth or cheesecloth for 2–4 hours to make it thick like Greek yogurt.
Step 6
6. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days. Save 2 tbsp to use as starter for next batch.
