Ingredients
2 servings
4 teaspoonsliquid smoke
2 teaspoonssalt
1 tablespoonminced garlic
2 teaspoonsolive oil
½ teaspoononion powder
1 teaspoonparsley
minced
½ cupwater
2 poundssirloin steak
2 tablespoonsbutter
2 cupssliced mushrooms
2 tablespoonssun-dried tomatoes
2 tablespoonsroasted red peppers
2 slicesbacon
cooked and crumbled
1 pinchthyme
1 teaspoonred wine vinegar
1 pinchparsley
chopped
Instructions
Step 1
Combine first 8 ingredients in a small bowl. Wish until combined. Divide evenly between 2 ziplock bags.
Step 2
Add 1 Steak to each bag, and refrigerate for 4 hours, occasionally turning bag to redistribute marinade
Step 3
Pre-heat grill to medium high heat, or 350-400°F
Step 4
Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Sauté mushrooms with sundried tomatoes and peppers until mushrooms brown at the edges.
Step 5
Add remaining ingredients (except steaks) and keep over low heat until steaks have been grilled to desired doneness.
Step 6
Serve steaks immediately with topping spooned over top
