Instructions
Step 1
Rinse 1 cup of rice.
Step 2
Cook as normal (rice cooker or stovetop) using
2:1 water-to-rice ratio. Let rice cool
Step 3
In a large saucepan, add:
• Cooked rice
• 2½-3 cups milk
• Sweetener, cinnamon, vanilla (if using)
• Simmer gently, stirring regularly until thick and creamy (10-15 mins)
• Allow it to cool to a warm-not hot-temperature
Step 4
Sweeten to taste and add optional ingredients.
Step 5
Mix well and portion into servings.
