SUPER EASY & QUICK baklava recipe if you struggle with filo dough! I love making these for parties, all I do is fill these ready-made filo shells with a nut and spice mixture and top with simple syrup. It tastes just as good as the regular baklava, but without all of the stress and time it takes.

Instructions

Step 1
Start by making the simple syrup. Combine all of the ingredients in a pot. Bring mixture to a boil while whisking, and then reduce to simmer for about 10 minutes. Let the mixture completely cool down before using.
Step 2
Using a food processor, add the nuts, sugar, and spices and blend. Add the melted butter and mix. Set aside.
Step 3
Place the frozen filo shells on a lined baking sheet. Scoop 1 tbsp of the nut filling into the shells. Bake at 350f for 10min.
Step 4
As soon as the shells come out of the oven, spoon 1 tbsp simple syrup on top. Let it cool down and enjoy!
