Scones

2 cupsall-purpose flour

⅓ cupbrown sugar

2 teaspoonpumpkin pie spice

1 ½ teaspoonbaking powder

½ teaspoonsalt

1 stickunsalted butter

½ cuppumpkin puree

3 tablespoonsheavy cream

1egg

1 teaspoonvanilla extract

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Mix pumpkin, cream, egg and vanilla.
Step 3
Then mix dry ingredients.
Step 4
Toss butter cubes into dry mix and cut into it until there are small pea sized bits of butter.
Step 5
Make a little well in the dry mix and pour
mix into it the stir together.
Step 6
Knead dough till fully combined on a
floured surface.
Step 7
Form into a round shape that's 1-inch thick
then cut into 8 pieces.
Step 8
Bake on parchment lined cookie sheet for 13-18 min until lightly browned
Step 9
Allow to cool completely before icing.
Step 10
For better icing results, allow vanilla icing to set then drizzle with pumpkin icing
