Instructions
Step 1
Combine 1/2 cup warm water with yeast and set aside.


Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, add 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup milk, 1/4 cup room temperature butter, 1 egg, salt, 2 cups of flour. Mix together until there is a smooth consistency. Pour yeast mixture into dough and mix.







Step 3
Knead dough for 10 minutes on floured surface.
Step 4
Prepared greased bowl. Cover bowl let dough rise for 90 minutes. It needs to double in size.
Step 5
Roll dough out on floured surface into a large rectabgle. Spread room temperature butter across the surface.

Step 6
Mix 3 Tablespoons cinnamon and 3/4 cup sugar together. Sprinkle over buttered dough.


Step 7
Roll entire square of dough into a log shape. Use string to cut pieces (knife might make the dough look messy).

Step 8
In your pan, add butter and sugar to the bottom. Place the cinnamon roll slices next to each other and let sit for 45 minutes so it can rise again.


Step 9
Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 10
Back for 25-30 minutes until rolls have a nice brown on the top.

Step 11
For the frosting, mix 1/4 cup of butter, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, powdered sugar and a tablespoon of warm water together. Mix until glaze is a paste.




Step 12
Spread glaze over cinnamon rolls if desired and enjoy!
