Chocolate Raspberry Brownies

Is there a better dessert combination than chocolate and raspberries? These healthy brownies are just that, being sugar free, gluten free, and only having healthy fats. With a neutral base of applesauce, almond butter, and coconut oil, sweetened with granulated monk fruit, brought together with oat flour and cocoa powder, and topped with raspberries, these brownies are the perfect dessert or snack without making you feel sluggish

½ cupunsweetened applesauce

½ cupgranulated monk fruit

1egg
large

¼ cupalmond butter

28goil
melted coconut oil

5gvanilla extract

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350F, and line a 9" square baking pan with parchment paper. Lightly grease the paper
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix together the wet ingredients with a silicone spatula until fully combined






Step 3
Any nut or seed butter will work in place of almond butter, such as peanut butter, cashew butter, tahini, or sunflower seed butter
Step 4
Melted (unsalted) butter or extra virgin olive oil will work in place of melted coconut oil
Step 5

Add the dry ingredients to the wet, and mix until just fully combined





Step 6

Transfer the batter to your parchment lined pan, and top with your raspberries, lightly pressing them into the batter

Step 7

Bake at 350F for about 25 minutes, or until the edges are set, and a toothpick to the center comes out almost clean with a few moist crumbs
Step 8

Transfer the pan to the fridge, and let chill for at least 30 minutes before slicing. Store leftover brownies in the fridge or freezer
