Parmesan chicken and orzo

Instructions

Step 1
1. Season chicken with salt and pepper, garlic powder and paprika and cook in oil until done. Remove from pan
Step 2
2. Saute onions until softened, 4-5 minutes adding garlic for last minute of cooking time.
Step 3
3. Add orzo and toast for 1-2minutes or until lightly golden.
Step 4
4. Add broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cover. Cook 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally. Liquid should be absorbed.
Step 5
5. Stir in heavy cream, parmesan and Italian seasoning. Mix until cheese melts and it becomes creamy.
Step 6
6. Return chicken to pan and heat through.
