Instructions

Step 1
Sort through beans to remove any stones or debris

Rinse the beans and add to instant pot. Add water, onion, bell pepper, garlic, salt, chili powder, cumin, and pepper to taste. Include fresh lime juice if desired.
Step 3
Secure the lid on the Instant Pot and pressure cook on high for 25 minutes.
Step 4
Allow the Instant Pot to release pressure naturally before removing the lid.
