Instructions
Step 1
- Preheat the oven to 375℉ (190℃) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it with butter.
- In a mixing bowl, add the flour, salt, and baking powder and whisk to combine.
- Mix the milk and vanilla in a cup and then pour into the flour mixture. - Combine to form a soft and smooth dough ball, transfer to a lightly floured work surface and roll it to form a log (about 10 inches long).
- Press down on it slightly to flatten it out to about 2 inches wide, and then cut it into 10 pieces. Then cut each piece in half for a total of 20 bite sized pieces.
- Place the dough pieces in a bowl, pour the melted butter over them and gently toss so that each piece is coated in butter.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar together and then pour it over the buttered pieces of dough. Toss again, making sure that every piece is covered in cinnamon sugar.
- Transfer to the prepared loaf pan, make sure they lay flat and are not stacked on top of each other, and bake for 9-10 minutes. (These cook through fairly quickly but you can bake for a few more minutes, if necessary. Just be careful not to over bake) - While that bakes, make the glaze by mixing together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Taste and adjust to your desired sweetness and consistency.
- When the cinnamon roll bites are ready, let them cool for just a few minutes and then drizzle with the glaze. Enjoy warm!
