Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°.
Step 2
Slice the onions and separate the rings.
Step 3
Crush enough of the potato chips to make 2 cups. (Reserve the rest to be used whole!)
Step 4
Whisk together the soup and the milk.
Step 5
Place half of the onion slices in the bottom of a 9” X 13“ baking dish that has been coated with nonstick spray.
Step 6
Spread the uncrushed potato chips over the onions. Add one cup of the shredded cheese on top of the potato chips.
Step 7
Pour half of the soup mixture on top of the cheese.
Step 8
Make second layer with the rest of the onions, then the remaining cup of shredded cheese, then the rest of the soup, and finally sprinkle the crushed chips on top.
Step 9
Bake uncovered for one hour.
