My Peanut Butter Cookies

My modified (dare I say, secret) recipe to make “angelic” cookies or “the best cookies ever” as reviewed by colleagues.
Cookie dough should fall off mixer, feel slick/smooth/tacky altogether. If more crumbly, probably need more butter or oil/water combo.

Ingredients

1. Mix together
2. Add eggs and mix
3. IMPORTANT Add oil and water
4. Add more ingredients and mix
Add flour in 2 chunks
Instructions
Step 1
Mix butter, brown sugar, sugar, and peanut butter together
Step 2
Add 2 eggs and mix
Step 3
IMPORTANT: Add 1/3 cup oil, 2 Tbsp water. Add more if using <1 stick butter
Step 4
Add baking soda, powder, and vanilla
Step 5
Stir in flower
Step 6
Roll into balls, flatten with fork, and cook top rack at 350 F for 8 minutes.
Step 7
Cool 5-6 minutes on baking tray, then move to raised cooling rack
