Instructions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, pickle juice, and mix until fully combined.
Step 4
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Stir in the chopped dill pickle.
Step 5
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
Step 6
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Step 7
(Optional) Brush the top of the warm brownies with pickle brine for an extra tangy kick. Sprinkle with chocolate chips, and a touch of sea salt.
Step 8
Allow the brownies to cool completely before slicing into squares.
