Eggnog Snickerdoodle with Spiced Glaze
A delightful cookie recipe mixing flour, cream of tartar, eggs, eggnog, and spices. Perfectly spiced and baked for a soft, sweet treat.

Dough ingredients
3 cupsflour
2 tspscream of tartar
1 tspbaking soda
½ tspsalt
1 tspground nutmeg
1 cupunsalted butter
softened
1 cupsugar
1egg
¼ cupeggnog
1 tspvanilla
½ tsprum extract

Instructions
Step 1
Mix Dry: Whisk flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt together. Set aside.
Step 2
Cream Butter: Beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 2 mins). Add egg, eggnog, vanilla, and rum extract; mix well.
Step 3
Combine: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet on low speed. Chill dough for 30 mins.
Step 4
Roll & Coat: Scoop 1" balls. Roll in the spiced sugar coating. Place 2" apart on parchment-lined sheets.
Step 5
Bake: Bake at 350°F for 9-11 mins until edges are set but centers are soft.
Step 6
Mix powdered sugar, eggnog and nutmeg together and drizzle glaze over cookie and add non pairel sprinkles on top if desired.
