Instructions
Step 1
Mix all dough ingredients in a stand mixer with the paddle attachment just until a soft dough forms. Wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Mix all filling ingredients in a bowl until smooth. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Divide the dough into balls weighing 25 - 30g.
Step 4
Flatten each ball in the palm of your hand. Place 1 full teaspoon of filling in the center. Gently close your hand around the dough, seal the filling inside, and roll into a smooth ball.
Step 5
Place on a baking tray and bake at 180°C / 350°F for 20 - 25 minutes, until lightly golden.
Step 6
Remove from the oven and let cool completely. Once cooled, dust generously with powdered sugar and serve.
