Instructions
Step 1
Set oven to 350° F.(176° C.)
Step 2
Butter an 8 x 8-inch square baking dish.
Step 3
In a large bowl mix together flour with sugar, cornmeal, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
Step 4
In another bowl whisk together half and half cream or milk, eggs, oil and melted butter; add to the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
Step 5
Add corn. Mix well.
Step 6
Transfer to baking dish.
Step 7
Bake for 35 minutes or until done.
