Instructions

Step 1
Prepare the Strawberries: Rinse and hull 1 cup of fresh strawberries. Place them in a blender and blend until smooth. If you prefer a chunkier texture, pulse lightly to leave small pieces.
Step 2
Juice the Lemons: Squeeze enough lemons to get 1 cup of fresh lemon juice. A juicer makes this step quick, but you can also do it by hand. Strain the juice to remove seeds and pulp.
Step 3
Mix the Lemonade: In a large pitcher, combine the strawberry puree, lemon juice, and 3/4 cup of sugar. Stir well until the sugar dissolves. Add 4 cups of cold water and mix thoroughly.
Step 4
Taste and Adjust: Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness or tartness. Add more sugar for a sweeter drink or more lemon juice for extra zing.
Step 5
Chill and Serve: Add ice cubes to the pitcher or individual mason jars. Garnish each glass with a strawberry slice or mint leaves for a pop of color.
