For the Filling
8 ozcream cheese
softened
8 ozimitation crab
shredded
8 ozshredded mozzarella
2 stalksgreen onions
chopped
½ Tbspsweetened condensed milk
½ Tbspsoy sauce
1 tspgarlic powder
1 Tbspbutter
melted
For the Breading
Instructions
Step 1
Mix imitation crab, softened cream cheese, mozzarella, green onions, melted butter, soy sauce, sweetened condensed milk, and garlic powder until smooth.
Step 2
Spread the mixture evenly into a parchment-lined pan and freeze for 1 hour, until firm.
Step 3
Cut the partially frozen mixture into sticks. Coat each in flour, then beaten eggs, then breadcrumbs. Press the breadcrumbs firmly and freeze again for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Heat oil to 350°F, cook for 2-3 minutes or until golden and crispy. Remove from oil, let excess oil drain on a wire rack or paper towel-lined plate.
Step 5
Top with green onions and serve hot with sweet garlic chili sauce.
