Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180 C/160 C fan forced. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Step 2
Using an electric mixer - beat butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well.
Step 3
Sift flour, cocoa, bicarbonate of soda and baking powder into a bowl. Add milo.
Step 4
Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk into your butter mixture until just combined.
Step 5
Drop even amounts of mixture onto your baking tray to create 12 biscuits.
Step 6
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until puffed and cooked through. Stand on trays for 2 minutes. then transfer to a wire rack to cool.
