Cranberry compote (14 days worth to go alongside chocolate chia seed pudding)
Cranberry Compote: 2 tablespoons (warm it up slightly if you want a "lava cake" feel)
Pro-Tip: If you find the compote becomes too thick after a few days in the fridge, simply stir in a teaspoon of warm water or orange juice to loosen it back up.

Instructions
Step 1
Simmer: Combine the frozen cranberries, maple syrup, and liquid in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Step 2
Pop & Mash: Cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally. You will hear the berries "pop" as they burst. Use the back of your spoon to mash some of the berries if you prefer a smoother, jammier texture.
Step 3
Finish: Once the mixture is glossy and slightly thickened, remove it from the heat. Stir in any optional vanilla or spices.
Step 4
Store: Let it cool completely at room temperature before transferring it to a glass jar. Seal tightly and refrigerate.
