Chicken Breast with Broccoli and Cheese

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C
Step 2
Season the chicken with salt and pepper, and drizzle with a little olive oil. Place it in a medium-sized, buttered baking dish.
Step 3
Cut the broccoli into small florets and scatter them over the chicken.
Step 4
In a small saucepan, melt the butter or heat the oil.
Step 5
Add the grated garlic and sauté for a few seconds until fragrant.
Step 6
Sprinkle in the flour, stir, then pour in the cream.
Step 7
Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and mustard. Cook, stirring constantly, for 2–3 minutes, until slightly thickened.
Step 8
Pour the garlic-cream sauce over the chicken and broccoli, then sprinkle the whole dish with grated cheese.
Step 9
Cover with aluminum foil and bake covered for 30 minutes.
Step 10
Then remove the foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is nicely browned.
