Instructions
Step 1
Heat oven to 350° F.
Step 2
In heavy skillet over medium heat, cook and stir sugar until melted and caramel-colored.

Pour into 8 (6 oz.) custard cups, tilting to coat bottoms completely.

Beat eggs in medium bowl.
Step 5
Stir in water, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and salt.
Step 6
Pour into prepared custard cups.
Step 7
Set cups in glass baking pans.
Step 8
Pour boiling water into baking pans until it reaches half way up the side of the

Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Step 10
Remove cups from water. Cool completely.
Step 11
Chill several hours.
Step 12
Run edge of sharp knife around each custard cup to loosen.
Step 13
Invert onto individual serving plates.
