An easy and delicious pizza made on a bun with crispy shawarma and a layer of melted cheese. Variations: - It is possible to use buns that have not been baked yet. In this case, follow the instructions on the packaging to substitute step 6. - Experiment with flavours by trying different kinds of cheese. My preference? Definitely a spicy kind.

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Step 2
Bake the shawarma in a pan with a bit of oil until crispy.
Step 3
Mix the passata and the tomato puree together in a bowl.
Step 4
Cut the buns in half. Spread the tomato mix on all halves.
Step 5
Divide the shawarma between all the halves you just created. Then add the grated cheese.
Step 6
Put the buns into the preheated oven and bake for 8 minutes.
