Arayes Meat Stuffed Pitas
If Looking for a quick and delicious weeknight meal then try these delicious Meat-stuffed pitas. Seasoned to perfection ground beef stuffed into pita bread then baked until crispy and golden. You can pan fry them or pop them in the oven like I did, either way they cook in no time and you’ll have dinner on the table that the whole family will enjoy and love.

Ingredients
5 servings
2 poundsground beef
1onion
medium size
3cloves garlic
1jalapeño
take out some of the seeds
parsley
1 tablespoonsalt
1 teaspoononion powder
1 teaspoongarlic powder
1 teaspoonpaprika
1 teaspoonblack pepper
½ teaspooncumin
½ teaspooncoriander
¼ teaspooncinnamon
8pita breads
3 tablespoonsolive oil
Tahini Sauce
Instructions
Step 1
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Step 2
2. Throw the onion, garlic, jalapeño and parsley in a food processor and process until fine.
Step 3
3. Mix the ground beef with the onion, garlic and parsley mixture, along with all the spices. Mix well ensuring all the spices are well incorporated.
Step 4
4. Cut pitas in half and open them to form pockets. Stuff them with about 2 heaping tablespoons of the meat mixture, ensuring the pita is full but not overfilling it.
Step 5
5. Brush the outside of the pitas with olive oil on all sides and Place on a baking sheet.
Step 6
6. Bake in the oven for approximately 25 minutes, turning them half way through until crispy and golden.
Step 7
7. For the tahini sauce combine all ingredients and serve alongside the Arayes and enjoy!!
